    Titan Store and Titan2Go will operate as a concession stand today.

     

    The newest episode of Titan TV is now online. It features girls soccer, boys lacrosse, and girls tennis. Check it out on the Hidden Valley homepage.

     

    SENIORS- Senior day field trip permission forms were due last week. There are still MANY seniors that need to turn these in. Please return them to your government teacher or Mrs. Weaver in Room 222 AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Please, it makes Mrs. Weaver’s life soooo much easier if you can return this form. Thanks!

     

    We have been afforded a wonderful opportunity to send one current sophomore to The Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Program on the campus of James Madison University.  The fee for this program can be as high as $395. We have been offered a full scholarship for one current sophomore.  If you would like to be considered for this position, please submit your name to Mrs. Dermott in the Career Center by April 12, 2019 before 3:25 p.m. The Career Center is located in the Counseling Department, next to Mr. Hughes' office.

    Seniors-Check Blackboard HVH Counseling for scholarship  information.  Make sure you check out the spreadsheet with all of the scholarships and due dates.

     

    Yearbooks are being delivered May 10th. Check the list outside Room 301 to be sure you bought your book. Some are still available for purchase. See Mrs. Honaker for details.

     

    History Club is running a voter registration drive during all three lunches. Any student who will be 18 years old by next November can register to vote. You must know your Social Security number.

    National History Scholars Society hours are due this Friday to Mrs. Winterer. The activity hours log can be printed from our Blackboard page.

     

    Attention senior Beta members. Volunteer hours are due soon. Please log hours using the form found in the Counseling Department. Please submit volunteer hours to Mrs. Dermott.

     

    Please recycle your plastics to help save our environment and oceans. There are boxes next to attendance and in each pod with signs that say “Save the Oceans”. Please drop your plastic bottles in there and we will collect next week.

     

    Kindness is Cool!  Hidden Valley is looking for students interested in beginning a Cool 2 Be Kind chapter, a national school based and student led organization.  Any student interested in participating in the movement against bullying and leading by example, please see Mr. Cundiff in the Counseling Department.

     

    BETA Club Seniors:  Please stop by the front office or Mrs. Penn/Irvin’s room to pick up information regarding volunteer hours and the BETA sash for graduation. Juniors, if you have decided to graduate early, please get the information, as well. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Penn or Mrs. Irvin.
