• Summer Reading 2023: 

    Expanded K-12 Summer Reading Program: Roanoke County Public Schools is excited to launch a new and expanded summer reading program. This program will have two tracks. The first track will be for all students (K-12) who wish to earn prizes by participating in the incentivized summer reading program through the Roanoke County Library System. The second track is a Path to AP that gives students the opportunity to read works with AP-oriented literary merit. Any Advanced, AP, College Bound, or regular student completing the activities outlined in the second track can earn academic credit for their work. Both tracks are optional and allow for parent and student choice. 

     

    Please note that the link below provides summer reading information for both middle and high school students: 

    • Rising 6th, rising 7th, and rising 8th grade students should refer to the middle school information 
    • Rising 9th grade students should refer to the high school information
