Reminder to Football Fans (Parents and Spectators): Our football game on September 21st is at Salem Stadium, and they have a clear bag policy.  

Football: We are canceling our Sept. 5^th B game due to field conditions in Craig County.

Help preserve the quality of this facility by obeying the following rules:

• The Athletic Facility is for School Use Only – Please Do Not Trespass.
• Move goals and other objects on the field by lifting. Do Not Drag.
• Please do not pick or pull grass fibers or infill material on the field.
• The Track is for Running or Walking Only.
• Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

• NO metal spikes or motorized vehicles allowed on the track or turf.
• NO skates, rollerblades, skateboards, bicycles, strollers, wagons, etc. on the track or turf.
• NO dogs or pets of any kind permitted.
• NO carts, canopies, umbrellas, or spiked objects.
• NO alcoholic beverages, tobacco/vapor product, drugs, or illegal weapons of any kind.
• NO glass bottles, glass containers, or coolers allowed.
• NO food, beverages (other than water), sports drinks, gum, seeds, or nuts on the turf.

*physicals are required before participating in any training function. (Must be dated after May 1, 2023)

Offseason Training Opportunities:

June 5 - July 25 - Every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 5:30 to 8:00 (Note: No training the week of July 2)

July 17 at 6pm - Rising Sixth Grad Evaluation Day

July 18 at 7:15pm - Pre-season Meeting in GHS Cafeteria for parents

July 24 at 5:30 - Equipment will be given out

Official Practices Begin:

July 27 and 28 at 10am to 12 Noon - First two Practices

July 31 - August 5 - Practice 6pm to 8pm (Note practice on August 5 will be 10am to 12 Noon)

August 3 - Parent meeting in High School Cafeteria at 7:30pm

August 7 and 8 - Practice 6pm to 8pm

August 9, 10, 11 - Practice After School to 5:30

August 12 - Practice 10am to 12 Noon

We will plan to practice each day after school beginning August 14th until 5:30. Games will take place each Thursday beginning August 17th. Practices on Friday’s will be TBA.
