Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! It is an honor to return to this great school as the new Principal of Masons Cove Elementary. My career in education started in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee where I worked at Gladeville Elementary as the school counselor. Then I moved to Virginia and was hired by Roanoke County Schools to be the school counselor at Masons Cove and Fort Lewis Elementary. Most recently, I was the Assistant Principal at Penn Forest Elementary School. I am excited to return to Masons Cove Elementary. My family and I are part of the Glenvar community and I am very invested in the success of our school.  

I value hope that the students are recharged and ready to start a new school year. Our skilled and devoted staff have been planning and preparing for your child(ren). Our dedicated secretary is registering new families, ordering needed materials, and updating student files. Our hard working and conscientious custodians have spent the summer cleaning our beautiful building. And, our much-appreciated PTA is gearing up to welcome families, provide volunteer opportunities, and offer other exciting events and programs. We are a caring community with the common goal of providing our students with the education foundation that nurtures a love for learning, embodies a growth mindset, and  promotes good character.
