I graduated from Emory and Henry College and Radford University. This year is my 18th year of teaching.
My wonderful husband and I have four boys who keep us busy with sports practice and daily wrestling matches in our living room. I like to read and hang out with my boys when I have free time.
Miss Martha Garman - TeacherHello ! My name is Martha Garman. I grew up in the Catawba Valley and Graduated from Glenvar High School in 2009. After graduation I attended Concord University in Athens, WV. In 2014 I graduated with my bachelors degree in Elementary Education and Multi-Catigorical Special Education. I began my teaching career in Fayette County, WV where I taught special education for 3 years. In August of 2016 I began to search for jobs in the Roanoke And New River Valleys. In January 2017 I accepted a job in Special Education with Montgomery County schools. In June 2017 I was blessed again with a job offer in Roanoke County schools at Masons Cove Elementary. Masons Cove and the Catawba Valley have always held a special place in my heart. Having the opportunity to teach at Masons Cove has been a dream of mine.In December of this year I will graduate from Concord University with my masters in Educational Leadership and Supervision. I look forward to becoming a Principal in Roanoke County Schools in the future .In my free time I enjoy gardening , chicken farming, reading a good book and playing with my fur child, Silas.

This is my first year teaching at Masons Cove Elementary School and my 12th year teaching in the Roanoke County School System. I have a Bachelors of Arts from Salem College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Virginia Tech.

Hometown-Topping, VA; Degrees- undergraduate BA in Biology from Hollins College, Master of Science Physical Therapy and Doctor of Physical Therapy from VCU-Medical College of VA. Husband- Rene Reiner, son Piers Sadler Reiner (2 years old)
