Announcements - May 6, 2021
- We are currently looking for a senior to sing at the graduation ceremony. Any interested performer should record a video of themselves performing a graduation appropriate song of their choice. Once it is recorded, please add to OneDrive and share it with Ms. Blais (hblais@rpcs.us). All recordings must be submitted no later than the end of the school day on May 7 to be considered. Due to current regulations, the performance must be a soloist.
- Hello William Byrd Parents! It is not too late to order your 20-21 yearbook. Visit the Yearbook Order Center and place your order soon. Prices go up to $70 at the end of the school year. Contact Christie Acker cacker@rcps.us if you have any questions.
- It's the end of the year, and that means it's time for some Superlatives - Teacher Edition. Nominate your WBHS faculty and staff for the following superlatives by May 18th and the winners will be announced on our last episode of the year (May 21st)! Who will be the winners? It's all in your hands, Terriers!

- JUNIORS! It's that time of year! Fill out the nominations form for the 2021-2022 Top Terrier & your Dog Pound leaders on your Blackboard WBHS Junior Class organization! Nominations end Friday, May 7th
- The William Byrd High School Virtual Art Show is now up and running! You may ask yourself, "Where can I see all this amazing art?" Well, what better place than Terrier Times! Please take a few minutes to scroll through and check out the awesome creative work that our art students have done throughout the school year. You can also vote for best in show using the voting link. Awards will be given for Best in Show, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, as well as 3 Honorable Mentions. Voting will end on Friday, May 14th. Mrs. Sartell, Ms. Goin and Mrs. Carr are so proud of the work produced during this tough year!
- Knitting Club will be meeting for the last time next week Monday / Tuesday, 5/10 & 5/11. We will be in Mrs. Scales room (217) from 2:30-3:30.
